HAIL TO THE (UPCOMING) AIDS CURE

When religions failed to curb our libidos,
Along came STDs with their list-o’-woes,
And the orgy effectively froze.

But then the scientists arose,
Like (new) mythological heroes,
And the Bacchanalia once again flows,
And confines monogamy to those,
Who fill cathedral rows,
And comfortably doze,
To throes of deathly prose.
